How do I get to the wedding venue?
Please take an Uber or taxi to the venue (address below), and plan to arrive no later than 3:30PM.
ADDRESS: Privada del Llano 4, 37720 San Miguel de Allende, Gto., México
IMPORTANT: There are two addresses in San Miguel de Allende with this address, so tell your driver to take you to La Colina. Please do not attempt walking from your hotel, or the hills and cobblestones of SMA will eat you alive.
Q: Is there a dress code?
For our ceremony and reception, please wear cocktail attire!The weather in San Miguel de Allende during March is HOT(high 80’s) during the day and cool at night (50’s-60’s). Our wedding will be outdoors, so please use your best judgement when packing your suitcase.
All streets (including the ground at the venue) are cobblestone. Ladies,please leave your heels at home!
Also, San Miguel de Allende is in the mountains and the UV index is VERY HIGH, so please, PLEASE make sure to wear sunscreen!
Q: Are kids allowed at the wedding? Can I bring a plus one?
For the wedding ceremony and reception, only those named on your invitation are welcome to attend.
Please note this will be an adults-only ceremony and reception. Children are welcome to join the welcome drinks Friday evening and the goodbye brunch on Sunday.
Q: I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Food at the wedding will be buffet style (self-serve), with options to assemble ingredients yourself. We will be accommodating for vegetarian and pescatarian food preferences – while avoiding any peanuts and treenuts (so we don’t kill any guests).
Q: Is there a wedding registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we can ask for. For those unable to attend, a small wedding registry is availablehere, if you feel inclined to give a gift.
Q: Can I use US Dollars in Mexico?
NO! Please do not be that gringo or gringa.
San Miguel de Allende is a cash heavy city,and everyone relies on local currency, so we recommend getting pesos from the ATM before you leave the airport.
There are ATMs everywhere in Mexico, in case you need to gather more pesos.
